While their previous albums evoked the surf riffs of Davie Allen, Dick Dale, and The Cramps, with the thunderous groove of Motörhead, their fourth album sees these troglodytes shift towards classic 80s heavy metal, while retaining the irresistible urgency of Italian gore gods Goblin. It's heavier, more aggressive, more driving, and... with a dose of pure woodland mold. True to their B-movie aesthetic, the recording offers powerful and impactful sounds, imbued with stench and nastiness.
