The Creepshow is undoubtedly one of the best Punkabilly bands in the world (with The Peacocks, let's say, and The Grit). The addition of the keyboard to their sound gives a certain originality and a rather intriguing aspect reminiscent of horror films, as if their Psychobilly had been recorded in a cathedral accompanied by a colossal organ in the background. The second originality is undoubtedly having a female singer rather than a male singer in the band, making The Creepshow an immediately interesting alternative. The eleven tracks that adorn the album are all of excellent quality and are sure to satisfy retro rock'n'roll fans as well as not too sectarian punk rockers. The sound of the double bass and the backing vocals are omnipresent. The keyboard, which sporadically comes in, adds a gloomy aspect to the whole while making it less dry, more elaborate, and better produced. The Creepshow is therefore a great band, with a sound that is its own, a true elegance, an impeccable voice - They All Fall Down is a highly recommended album.
