Description
Initially released in 1983, "Smell Of Female" was a 30 cm (12 inch) mini-LP that immortalized Lux Interior (vocals), Poison Ivy (guitar), Kid Congo Powers (guitar), and Nick Knox (drums) in concert at the Peppermint Lounge in New York on February 25 and 26 of the same year. Composed of six tracks, "Smell Of Female" reveals the Cramps in all their glory, with punchy songs such as "Faster Pussycat," "Call Of The Wighat," "I Ain't Nuthin' But A Gorehound," "Psychotic Reaction," "You Got Good Taste," and "Thee Most Exalted Potentate Of Love."
