Recorded in the living room of a house on SE Division St. in Portland, Oregon, in 2007. It was recorded without expectation, just to document the songs that people gathered to sing since our first concerts in the fall of 2005. The songs had only been played in the street until then. At these concerts, anyone present would receive an instrument and quickly join the group. During the recording, we tried to capture that organic and vibrant atmosphere of the live concert. We invited about twenty close friends for a choir session one Sunday morning under the influence of alcohol.
