Inspired by the shadowy cabarets and smoky jazz clubs of late 1920s Weimar Berlin, Bitter-Sweet sees Bryan Ferry and his orchestra reimagining his solo repertoire as well as that of Roxy Music through a refined jazz sensibility. Ferry provides vocals on eight tracks, while the other pieces take the form of instrumental reinterpretations, arranged by Colin Good and performed by a full ensemble of seasoned jazz musicians.
