Le duo The Breath delivers a second airy album with enchanting melodies, between folk and world music. Ríoghnach Connolly and Stuart McCallum are the creative heart of The Breath. Ríoghnach is the singer, lyricist, and flutist. She is known for her work with Afro Celt Sound System and Honeyfeet. Stuart McCallum is the guitarist and has worked with Cinematic Orchestra. Both have an incredible connection and great sensitivity. 'Let the Cards Fall' is their new album and follows 'Carry Your Kin' released in 2016. This new album is a collection of enchanting songs that travel through a delicious and captivating story. It is a kaleidoscope of musical textures and sounds that define their alt-folk. This album was written spontaneously, and the music as well as the lyrics came very quickly; the duo chose to work quickly, the songs were written and recorded lightly, in a few days and in different locations to capture a certain creative spontaneity.
