Cult Scottish band and still a reference for many artists, The Beta Band only existed for a short time, from 1996 - their formation in St Andrews - to 2004, the time to release 3 EPs and then 3 albums as innovative as they were unique, whose influence is still omnipresent today. The Beta Band had, among other things, broken the traditional format of pop songs, from their structure to their duration, through eclecticism and genre blending. Their 1st anthem "Dry The Rain" was immortalized in a cult scene from the film "High Fidelity".
Now signed to Because Music, The Beta Band's work is being honored again: numerous reissues and new creations will be released between September and December 2018, including the cult classic "3 Eps" which will be reissued in remastered version.
