Since forming in Oakland, California in 2015, The Acharis has been a creative outlet for the couple Shaun Wagner and Mila Puccini. After playing in various bands in the Bay Area music scene for years, they decided to create something of their own. Trading lead vocal and songwriting duties, they played and recorded every instrument themselves on their 2017 debut album, Lost in the Vortex. For their new album, Blue Sky / Grey Heaven, the duo teamed up with legendary producer John Fryer (Cocteau Twins, Depeche Mode, This Mortal Coil).
