This 17-track album, a vibrant blend of gangsta rap, melodic G-funk, and characteristic West Coast groove, features productions by Daz, contributions from DJPooh, and mixing by Dr. Dre. Upon its release, Dogg Food debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 278,000 copies in its first week, and would go on to be certified Double Platinum in the United States.
