It is an acknowledgment. It is tracing the line between influence and identity, between listening and becoming. You ask why? Why not! It felt like a nice thing to do, it's been 20 years since we released Real to Reel... It inspired the writing of a new original Tesla song called \"Never Alone.\" And that's what bands are supposed to do... make music. These songs were chosen for various reasons... Mainly because they are performed by some of the greatest singers of all time: Elvis Presley, Freddie Mercury, Sam Cooke, David Ruffin, Etta James, James Brown... And others simply because we loved those tracks and heard them on the radio or on our turntables. Anyway, we hope you enjoy this album as much as we enjoyed creating it...
