Nominated for the GRAMMY® Awards in the Best Jazz Instrumental Album category for their 2019 opus, Waiting Game, this acclaimed collective returns with an impressive lineup of MCs, spoken word artists, and instrumentalists. This time, they explore systemic and contemporary themes that challenge, inspire action, and greatly enrich the well-established tradition of the alliance between art and activism. Women's empowerment, climate change, immigration, gender equality, bodily autonomy, community development, and animal rights are addressed with a freshness, depth, and creative brilliance that can only come from an artist whose very essence is rooted in empathy and humanity.
