Description

Dinner Party is the "super-group" of Terrace Martin, Robert Glasper, Kamasi Washington and 9th Wonder. Their impact on the Black American music scene over the last 15 years is undeniable. Jazz musicians at their core, they have all ventured into Hip Hop during their careers, and Dinner Party is their new playground to explore the genre. The cover was created by Kamasi Washington's sister, Amani Washington. Still very active, Kamasi Washington recently composed the original soundtrack for Michelle Obama's documentary "Becoming". 4 of the 6 tracks that make up this mini album feature the Chicago singer, Phoelix.
