Originally released in 1969, Ssssh marked Ten Years After's breakthrough into mainstream rock, blending blues riffs with the raw energy of British psychedelia. The album has been newly mixed by Charlie Russell (at Soho Studios), supervised by the original band members, and remixed from the original 1" 7-track tapes, offering superb fresh sound details. The second LP contains an unreleased live recording from the Finnish radio archives of the band's stunning performance at the Kulttuuritalo in Helsinki on December 3, 1969, recorded just a few months after the band's performance at Woodstock. This deluxe edition includes newly written liner notes by Nigel Williamson, a testimony from Joe Bonamassa, and previously unseen photographs. Remastered by Phil Kinrade and cut at half-speed at AIR Mastering. The package is a 2LP 2025 Stereo Mix and Live in Helsinki, 1969, housed in a reverse gatefold sleeve.
