TANGER TRIO is the project of Hansjoern Brandenburg, who has been musical director for Tom Waits, William S. Burroughs, Coco Rosie and Bob Wilson and has done arrangements for the Kronos Quartet and Tiger Lillies. He is joined by Thomas Wylder (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds) on drums and Sirone Jones who has played with Mingus, Gil Evans and Sun Ra. This album is a superb instrumental record with jazzy and cinematic atmospheres from the 50s and 60s.
