Despite a critically acclaimed debut album, Everything Touching (2012), and a devoted fanbase, Tall Ships subsequently found themselves without management or a label. Far from giving up and abandoning their project, FatCat Records eventually decided to support them. Recorded and mixed by the band themselves in a few DIY sessions, this new album, Impressions, will mark the return of the trio who opened for Nada Surf on their 2012 European tour. The 9 tracks that make it up were notably influenced by the milestones reached during these four extraordinary years. Early fans will be delighted to rediscover their progressive melodies tinged with math rock. The limited double vinyl version includes 2 bonus tracks.
