Description

EARLY RECORDINGS (LP + 7" BLACK VINYL). Chris Frantz and David Byrne, of the band Talking Heads, met while students at the Rhode Island School of Design and made music in a college band called The Artistics. In the spring of 1974, the band gathered in Frantz's apartment on Benefit Street to record a demo. The cassette included some songs that would soon become classics in the Talking Heads discography, "Warning Sign" and "Psycho Killer." This LP and 7" vinyl compilation features these recently discovered tracks, as well as eleven others recorded in 1975 and 1976 as demos and live performances by the band's original lineup (bassist Tina Weymouth alongside Frantz and Byrne).
