After their first album God's Ball, TAD continued to write and record, releasing a few EPs including Salt Lick. The work features the single Wood Goblins, whose video was rejected by MTV for being "too ugly." In fact, Salt Lick is "ugly" but in a delicious way, partly thanks to the notable participation of noise-rock engineer Steve Albini (Big Black, Shellac, Nirvana, The Jesus Lizard) who recorded the EP. The reissue is enhanced with tracks from the Wood Goblins single with Pussy Galore, and the 7'' Loser.
