The young pop-punk band returns with a third album, this time produced by Erik Blood. Lost Time (a reference to X-Files) is triumphantly youthful, yet also frank and thoughtful. Emily Nokes and her bandmates tackle their usual themes with their characteristic sarcasm and irony. This is evident in "Men Explain Things To Me," which addresses male condescension with a surf guitar feel. You can also hear them in front of the cartoon "The Powerpuff Girls" – they did the theme song!
