Demon Records presents a special 50th anniversary edition of this album released in late 1974 in the United States, originally on the Casablanca Records label, which was founded just a year earlier. Marc Bolan and his band T. Rex had recorded eight tracks in the United States, intended to be included on the British album of 1975 "Bolan's Zip Gun." However, the previous album, "Zinc Alloy," had not been released in the United States, and Bolan was keen to have a new album available. Thus, "Light Of Love" combines the eight newly recorded tracks with three tracks from the album Zinc Alloy - "Teenage Dream," "Explosive Mouth," and "Venus Loon." Among the new tracks is "Till Dawn," the last collaboration of Bolan with Tony Visconti, who was responsible for the string arrangement on the song.
