Symarip was a ska and reggae band from the United Kingdom that originated in the late 1960s. The band built a reputation as a backing group for Prince Buster. They are widely regarded as one of the first skinhead reggae bands. Symarip only recorded one studio album: Skinhead Moonstomp. It includes fan favorites like "Skinhead Girl," "Skinhead Jamboree," and "Skinhead Moonstomp." The singer and trombonist Roy Ellis was the man behind many of their classics.
