'Aux anges' is my most personal record, a synthesis of the work I began ten years ago with 'Alphabet,' continued with 'Mechanics,' and then 'Troubadours.' Less conceptual in its creation than 'Troubadours' and perhaps less aesthetically distinct than 'Mechanics,' 'Aux anges' is an ode to my loves, to my angels, to those beings, artists or not, who inspire me and help me live. It's the dreamlike drawing of a fountain of youth to which I frequently return to drink, to recharge and cultivate my passions. With its scattered quotes and references, 'Aux anges' is also designed as a treasure hunt through my artistic intimacy.
