Bare a year after the release of *Wild Dog*, artist Susanna returns with a new album on her own label, SusannaSonata. Known for the poetry of her lyrics and her hypnotic vocal timbre, she teams up with the Norwegian ensemble neoN for *The Forester*, on which she combines ancient-baroque notes of the theorbo, strings, and piano. The artist draws from both her new songs and her old repertoire and records with the octet in one day in a studio in Oslo.
