They played the music as they felt it, and it was not without consequences. They were banned from playing in Los Angeles and were harassed by many authority figures, including the Secret Service, who came to visit singer Mike Muir. Shortly after, the Parents Music Resource Center also got involved. The PMRC is an American lobbying group created in 1985 to denounce references to sex, violence, satanism, alcohol, and drugs in music, and it would impose the Parental Advisory Explicit Content label. They were not the only ones targeting the band, as their music became the soundtrack for punks, thrashers, metalheads, skaters, surfers, and bikers all over the world. A true cyco punk army more alive than ever! This new album comes out 35 years after their self-titled debut and 25 years after Still Cyco After All These Years.
