Suede

Description

Released in March 1993, "Suede" is the fastest-selling debut album in the United Kingdom. The album contains what Rolling Stone calls "its triptych of instantly classic singles" - "The Drowners", "Metal Mickey" and "Animal Nitrate". At the time, the album's release in the United States was hindered by an injunction from an existing American band called Suede. As a result, the band's subsequent albums in the United States were "branded" as being by "The London Suede", but the debut album was never rebranded.
