When the guitarist of PARADISE LOST, Greg Mackintosh, ended his parallel project VALLENFYRE in 2018, in tribute to his father who passed away in 2009. The brief existence of VALLENFYRE was intentional - the band always knew they could not go further than the three studio albums released so far. Thus, a few days after VALLENFYRE played its last concert in September 2018, Mackintosh announced with the same courage and sincerity he is known for the formation of a new band, STRIGOI.
