Sting is a musical explorer, a pioneer of sounds, a curious man eager to create with artists from all musical genres. Sting's collaborations have become cornerstones of pop music history, from the melismatic desire of Desert Rose with Cheb Mami to the sensual groove of It's Probably Me with Eric Clapton, not to mention the sparkling album "44/876" with Shaggy, which earned him his most recent and 17th GRAMMY Award. To celebrate some of these special joint works, Sting is releasing "Duets". The album will be available in digipack CD and 2LP vinyl. "Duets" includes some of his favorite duets, with collaborators such as Mary J. Blige, Herbie Hancock, Eric Clapton, Mylène Farmer, Shaggy, Cheb Mami, Melody Gardot, Gashi, GIMS, Charles Aznavour... In total, 17 tracks, from jazz to ragga to rock or pop, that allow us to explore part of Sting's fabulous electric career, accompanied by artists with voices and personalities as unique as his. Most of these tracks have been hits in France over the last 3 decades. An unreleased "September," performed in duet with the Italian star Zucchero, also completes this incredible collection.
