Steven Brown & Blaine Reininger, founders and pillars of Tuxedomoon, team up with Belgian musician/sound creator Maxime Bodson to create this fascinating soundtrack for a performance by choreographer Thierry Smits. The legendary Made To Measure series from Crammed is reactivated especially for this occasion. This is an unprecedented blend of electronic textures, instrumental compositions, and harmonic and melodic scents that evoke the modernist classical music of the early 20th century, not without recalling certain aspects of the Tuxedomoon sound. In composing these pieces, Brown Reininger & Bodson drew inspiration from the theme developed by Thierry Smits' creation: contemporary melancholy and despair, resulting in a magnificent suite of musical pieces that takes us into a perfectly captivating universe.
