Steve Wynn's new solo album, a member of the Dream Syndicate, is being released alongside his memoirs. Make It Right oscillates between literal and metaphorical ruminations - a dialogue between the author and the musician - a Wynn more vulnerable and reflective than ever before. The album "Make It Right" features major collaborations from Mike Mills (R.E.M.), Vicki Peterson (The Bangles), Chris Schlarb (Psychic Temple), Emil Nikolaisen, and other musicians. Although "Make It Right" is not autobiographical, it begins with Santa Monica, the city and boulevard where he was born, and ends with "Roosevelt Avenue," the main thoroughfare of the Queen neighborhood in New York. Wynn will also be touring the UK, Europe, and the United States this fall to support the album.
