For over ten years, American musician Steve Gunn has established himself as one of the leading figures in experimental and guitar-driven rock. Following a critically acclaimed trilogy of albums on Matador, he now unveils his seventh opus, *Daylight Daylight*, recorded in Chicago. For this new project, Gunn reunites with James Elkington, who previously produced *The Unseen In Between* in 2019. Together, they opted for a more stripped-down approach, re-centering the music on its essentials: guitars and vocals.
