Release brought forward to October 28th
Stephan Eicher has been putting his heart and soul into this new album for three years. The songs on this opus are overflowing postcards, colors streaming to sketch out a different landscape.
Stephan Eicher likes it when emotions prefer small paths to big highways. He can sing about disappearance, the lurking threat, doubt and storms, but he refuses Manichaeism, cheap darkness. With him, everything clashes, swirls, mixes. With *Ode*, there is hope in his songs, sometimes laughter, rather sly, love, and above all, an ultra-sensitive poetry, the words of writer friends, Martin Suter and always and again Philippe Djian.
