After starting out on SoundCloud alongside Captaine Roshi and the Ultimate Boyz, with whom he filled the Trabendo at just 17 years old, the singer and rapper from the 15th arrondissement of Paris began to attract attention in 2018 with the single "Doudou," which has accumulated over 10 million streams to date. Nestled somewhere between romantic R&B and haunting trap, Squidji's music captivates, and he signed with A+LSO (Sony) to release his first EP, Parades, in September 2020. Led by the sensual "Feeling," this EP heralded the arrival of his very first album Ocytocine.
