The album "Let Your Dim Light Shine", released in 1995 by Soul Asylum, followed the landmark 1990s alternative rock album "Grave Dancers Union", which contained their biggest hit, "Runaway Train". The band once again achieved platinum status, with three singles charting. "Misery" even reached number 20 on the US Billboard 100 and was parodied by "Weird Al" Yankovic, undeniable proof of the band's popularity in the 1990s. The album was produced by Butch Vig, who had also produced "Nevermind" (Nirvana), and helped preserve the distinctive alternative sound of the band's previous albums.
