The late Sophie Watillon brings her extreme sensitivity to the service of the most beautiful pages composed by Marin Marais, drawn from the books of viol pieces: La Rêveuse, Le Dialogue, Plainte, Caprice, Les Folies d'Espagne, and this Tombeau for Monsieur de Sainte-Colombe in tribute to her master. Following the success of the Rouge, Jaune, Bleue, Rose, and Blanche collections (a total of 60 reissues) that have brought the gems of the baroque catalogs of the house labels back into the spotlight, here are 14 new titles that allow us to rediscover other treasures, whether baroque or from an earlier or later period. Like the last series, this 6th batch also opens up to the classical repertoire (Mozart by Ensemble 415 and Chiara Banchini) or Renaissance (Févin by Doulce Mémoire and Denis Raisin Dadre); recordings that are an integral part of Alpha's identity and history. Fourteen reissues performed by the best musicians in the genre, most of whom have received one or more awards upon their release. Real booklets accompany the discs, featuring a presentation text in three languages (French, English, German). Photographers from all backgrounds illustrate the covers of the series, this time with the color green as a common thread, symbolizing nature, fertility… and hope!
