Songs from the kitchen disco: Sophie Ellis-Bextor's greatest hits

The Instagram Live Disco Kitchen of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, during the lockdown due to Covid-19, were a means of virtual escape for many, and became weekly moments of sparkly catharsis united for the hundreds of thousands of people who tuned in. The individual videos of the songs from the shows were also viewed by millions of people on Twitter. Sophie also launched her own podcast titled "Spinning Plates," in which she explains to active women, who happen to be mothers as well, how they make the system work. Given Sophie’s very busy schedule, we celebrate her greatest hits, including "Murder on The Dancefloor," "Groovejet," "Take Me Home," by launching her own cover of "Crying At The Discotheque" (originally a 1990s Alcazar hit). Sophie’s Kitchen Disco Tour sold over 60% of its capacity on many dates and more dates will be announced in October for her 2021 tour. Additionally, Sophie will be announced as the main support for a Steps Arena tour in 2021.
