Double black 12" vinyl (45 rpm for optimal fidelity) in a gatefold sleeve with a matte finish (soft to the touch), first pressing limited to 450 copies worldwide.
Originally released in 2014, this debut album by psychedelic stoner rock trio SOMALI YACHT CLUB is a testament to the band's ability to blend a variety of powerful musical genres into one colorful entity. ‘The Sun’ thus mixes stoner and psychedelic elements, post-metal and shoegaze.
With this record, the band quickly gained a large following worldwide and received praise from the international press.
This re-release contains the track "Sun's Eyes," taken from the eponymous EP released in 2015.
