L'écho du silence
Description
This record brings together some of the most beautiful traditional liturgical chants of the Christians of Lebanon, alternating pieces sung solo by Sister Rabiaa Moutran and pieces sung in duet with her brother, Father Jean. These sacred chants touch us with their beauty and echo their distant origins. They immerse us in the liturgy of our Christian brothers from the East, allowing us to better appreciate all its richness, depth, and diversity. An exceptional voice. Born in 1966 in Zahlé, Lebanon, into a family of six siblings (including Father Jean who also sings on this record), Sister Rabiaa Moutran belongs to the Congregation of the Basilian Choueirite Sisters. Her Community resides at the Convent of the Annunciation, in Zouk-Mikael, Lebanon. Her magnificent voice, which she considers a gift from the Lord, is the instrument of the expression of her faith. She took singing lessons with Sister Marie Keyrouz in Paris and received training in Byzantine music in Greece (Sister Rabiaa Moutran has produced three records of Byzantine liturgy).Buy L'écho du silence at the best price
