Soars is the solo project of Kristian Karlsson, synthesizer player for Cult Of Luna and bassist/vocalist for PG.Lost; and yes, "Repeater," an epic instrumental rock album full of drama and joyful yet melancholic melodies, will make all PG.Lost fans very, very happy. Karlsson released his first solo album "Enfold" under the name Soars in 2021. Recorded and released by the artist himself, it made waves in the post-rock world and the vinyl pressing quickly sold out. "Repeater" perfectly follows in the footsteps of the first album; propelled by the powerful drumming of Christian Augustin (Stiu Nu Stiu, drummer for Cult of Luna) and Karlsson's charismatic synth melodies, these seven tracks clearly reference the cinematic works of artists such as Vangelis and Jean-Michelle Jarre, as well as post-rock bands like God is An Astronaut, Caspian, and Mogwai.
