On the title track of their new album Worldwide, Blair Tramel sums up Snõõper’s state of urgency: “Push pull / Side to side / This way / That way / Can’t decide / Pressure!” These frenetic lyrics, partly inspired by hydraulic press videos, reflect the pressure the band has experienced since their rapid rise from Nashville's DIY scene to underground stages worldwide. But Worldwide isn't just an outlet. It’s also a sonic manifesto where Snõõper refines their style. Driven by relentless electronic rhythms and Connor Cummins’ guitar bursts, the album marks a turning point towards more personal and visceral music, still explosive but now tinged with new textures. “There’s a balance point,” he explains about this evolution. “For a moment, the tension creates a beautiful dance.” This dynamic gives Worldwide its full impact: an album of tension, release, and mutation.
