Driven by the primitive push of their single oscillator synths, high and low culture clash in a surreal and fluid narrative, in a universal rhythm.
It is undoubtedly the album that comes closest to the overflowing energy of Snapped Ankles' live shows. It is everything you have come to know and love about a Snapped Ankles album, amplified until the ground begins to shake. The sound of Hard Times Furious Dancing was born in 2024 during the "Forest Rayve" club nights of Snapped Ankles, in South London, in response to this age-old primal need to bring people together and make them move.
This is the first time since their debut album Come Play The Trees that the Woodwose have tested so many of their new tracks before recording them, and in doing so, they have once again tapped into that fierce energy. This surreal connection between man and woodwose is the best way to break free from an algorithm that knows you better than you know yourself.
Snapped Ankles is embarking on their biggest tour to date, with around thirty concerts in the UK and Europe this spring, including a night at Fabric in London on May 15.
