Smut, the Chicago indie rock band, announces the release of their new album, Tomorrow Comes Crashing. It sees the band re-energized, galvanized by their new lineup. Smut strived to capture the big emotions that come with falling in love with music for the very first time. The band focused on creating a record that possessed the same intensity as the records that first got them into music: My Chemical Romance’s Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge or At the Drive-In’s Relationship of Command. The result is ten of their most intense, grandiose, and focused songs to date. To make the album, Smut recorded as live as possible with Aron Kobayashi Ritch (Momma) at a studio in Red Hook, Brooklyn, over ten days. Tomorrow Comes Crashing is the culmination of the band's DIY spirit: making a record that fully embraces the intensity, mood, and emotion of their journey so far.
