Slade was unstoppable throughout the 70s, becoming one of the biggest bands in Europe, releasing 6 successful albums, including three number 1s in the UK, a series of 17 consecutive Top 20 singles, and their hits that are synonymous with the glam era. First released in 1983, the record 'The Amazing Kamikaze Syndrome' allows the band to perform a series of hits such as "Run Runaway", "My Oh My" and "Ready To Explode". Remastered and expanded digital edition of Slade's 1983 album including six bonus tracks, featuring remixes and non-album B-sides. After Slade's legendary performance at the 1980 Reading Festival, the band's career was back on solid ground in terms of media interest, sold-out shows, and a major contract with RCA. All they needed then was a hit single, and "Noddy Holder" and "Jim Lea" duly provided a pair; the huge ballad "My Oh My" and the Celtic-flavored rock jig, "Run Runaway" between the two singles, in December 1983, the album 'The Amazing Kamikaze Syndrome' was released. It was an impressive display of inflated, high-tech Rock-Pop and it was a huge success across Europe, particularly in Scandinavia. When it was reconditioned and renamed 'Keep Your Hands Off My Power Supply', the album also made it into the Top 40 in the United States, preparing Slade for a new assault on the American market.
