Description

NOSTALGIC AND VINTAGE INDIE-POP. As the band's name doesn't suggest, these musicians hail from the tip of Brittany, from Brest to be precise. Elouan Jégat works on his ideas alone, both in writing and recording. His compositions are then completed by the arrangements of Baptiste Le Solliec on drums and Ugo Héon on keyboards. The English lyrics are then enhanced by Irish singer Kevin Twoney (Bigger), who contributes his stylistic touch before recording. This album was composed over a year, with the seasons and the moods they evoke, resulting in 12 tracks that represent the passing of time, 12 tracks for the 12 months of the year. BETWEEN INDIE-POP SUBTLETY, INTROSPECTIVE FOLK, AND NEO-PSYCHEDELIC ROCK. "The first track, TTMT, 'Take Time Make Time,' is like a pop-rock anthem that invites you to take your time, an encouragement to let go that permeates the entire album, with its ebb and flow (we're not far from the Atlantic Ocean...) of danceable and comforting tracks after the dark COVID years. All of this with a tone that can be described as light (the scopitone, by the way, was a jukebox that combined image with sound, and was popular in France in the early 60s), even a little nostalgic.
