Silver Tears is the new project from Berlin-based Luca Venezia (aka Curses) and Damian Shilman (Skelesys). The duo made a name for themselves in 2023 with a first track on the compilation Next Wave Acid Punx Deux, unveiling a universe blending deep basslines, crystalline guitars, and mechanical rhythms — a classic yet irresistible formula. Two years later, they present their debut self-titled album, composed of eight elegant tracks between electronic coldwave, 90s shoegaze, and melancholic grunge. Baritone vocals, sharp arpeggios, slow passages, and danceable moments follow one another, sometimes elevated by vocal duets. A record at the crossroads of the dancefloor and introspection, embracing all facets of goth culture and affirming its enduring modernity.
