With her new album Tomorrow We'll Figure Out the Rest, award-winning Norwegian jazz singer and songwriter Silje Nergaard pays a deeply personal tribute to her parents. This album, inspired by memories and life stories, once again highlights her talent for telling moving stories through music. She is accompanied by an exceptional lineup of musicians, including Helge Lien on piano, Jarle Vespestad on drums, Finn Guttormsen on bass, George (Jojje) Wadenius on guitar, and Håkon Kornstad on saxophone, as well as the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Vince Mendoza. The latter, who previously collaborated with Silje Nergaard on her Grammy-nominated album A Thousand True Stories, has crafted emotionally charged orchestral arrangements for this new opus. Tomorrow We'll Figure Out the Rest is a musical journey alternating between the intimacy of a jazz ensemble and the grandeur of orchestral sounds.
