The new album « RAINMAKER » by the Finnish death metal band SIGIR on CD.The album consists of seven tracks and lasts 41 minutes, making it a fairly substantial debut. Two of the songs, "The Lantern" and "Depraved", were released as singles.Sigir offers a dual guitar attack. There are a number of beautifully executed acoustic passages throughout the album, including the intro to the title track and the opening track, "Rainmaker". The most interesting tracks have a mixed tempo, which adds more texture and nuance, enhancing the melodic atmosphere.Among these songs are "Depraved", "The Offer" and "From Time to Eternity".The band members are from Vesanto, a small town in central Finland.
