This recording, made 67 years ago, has been reissued to mark Shirley Collins' 90th birthday. It is limited to 800 copies on black vinyl and 1000 copies on CD, each packaged in a printed cardboard sleeve. The album has been remastered and accompanied by a restored original illustration. The LP also includes postcard inserts. It was recorded by Alan Lomax and Peter Kennedy. On this recording, Shirley Collins is accompanied by John Hasted on banjo, Ralph Rinzler on guitar and Guy Carawan also on guitar.
