Dude Incredible

Description

EVENT ALERT: SHELLAC releases its fifth album, Dude Incredible. Dude Incredible (the Touch And Go label specifies that the title is written without a comma; like Sir Duke or King Friday) was recorded over several years in various sessions at guitarist and sound engineer Steve Albini’s studio in Chicago. It was also in Chicago that the band was founded in 1992, through an informal collaboration between Albini, drummer Tod Trainer, and sound engineer and bassist Bob Weston. As with all their albums, sound quality is paramount: the LP was mastered entirely using analog processing with the DMM (Direct Metal Mastering) process.
