With Transitory, the Sheen Trio, led by bass clarinetist and composer Shabnam Parvaresh, creates dense and immersive soundscapes at the crossroads of jazz, experimental rock, and free jazz, enriched by Iranian influences. Between chaos and silence, this intense and sensual music draws the listener into unexplored sonic territories. Following their acclaimed album Gozar (2023), the trio will release Transitory in early 2026 on Unit Records, an album characterized by great freedom of improvisation and a strong narrative dimension. Founded by Shabnam Parvaresh after her journey between Tehran and Germany, the Sheen Trio combines guitar and drums in music that is constantly migrating: contemplative or explosive, always adventurous and resolutely unique.
