For their sixth album, the Oakland (California) band Shannon & The Clams, known for their blend of energetic garage rock, doo-wop, and surf rock, returned to record in Nashville at Dan Auerbach's Easy Eye Sound studios, the leader of the Black Keys, who also plays on the record.
