Description

Embouteillage! Two friends are trapped in their vehicle near a crosswalk. With the regularity of a metronome, the little man of the traffic light taunts them, switching from red to green without the cars moving an inch, and they fume at this forced stop... Only the incessant ballet of the windshield wipers keeps time with their impatience... Gradually, the din of horns fades away and the traffic jam becomes a celebration! Between borborygms, invented sounds, songs, and words borrowed from 20th-century French poets, the voices of Aimée de la Salle and Serena Fisseau dance and glide according to their imagination, inventing parallel worlds, and the interior of their car then becomes a bubble of daydreaming, playful and enchanting. We are in the city, in a situation well known to all... a traffic jam.
